COVID-19 PROTOCOL

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR APPOINTMENT AT TIMOTHY & JAMES.

We at Timothy & James take your safety and health very seriously. We want to assure you that we are taking every step necessary and required to provide the cleanest and most sanitary environment to perform our services.

Appointments are required for every guest so we can control the amount of traffic entering the building. Please do not bring anyone to your appointment unless otherwise planned and discussed with your stylist. Unexpected guests will have to wait outside.

Please come prepared with your own water. If you want to eat/drink, please step outside to do so before removing your mask. We will not allow you to drink or eat around out stylists (even if you’re vaccinated).

You will be required to wear a mask for the entire service. This will insure we will keep everyone in the salon safe and healthy. If you do not have a mask that fits properly behind your ears (ie one that does not wrap around your head) you will be provided a disposable mask. If you refuse to wear a mask, you will not receive a service and will be asked to leave.

Before entering, you will be asked to SELF SCREEN:
Have you been around anyone within the last 14 days experiencing Covid-19 symptoms?
Are you currently experiencing Covid-19 symptoms?
Are you currently awaiting test results for Covid-19?
*If you have answered yes to any of these questions, RESCHEDULE. It is a hair appointment, it can wait.

You will be asked to wash your hands and then you may head immediately to your stylists work station. Your stylist will complete your service using a clean cape, sanitized tools, and will also be wearing a mask. Unfortunately, beard trims and shaves will not be offered at this time for the safety of others in the salon.

When checking out, you may pay with card, venmo, or cash (and yes, we do have contact-less pay ie Apple Pay). If paying in cash, please provide exact change as we will be limiting contact as much as possible. If you need a product, please let your stylist know and they will grab it from the product shelf for you.

We will have zero tolerance for anyone that chooses to disregard these rules.


We understand this is a lot, and will be a challenge for all of us, but this is required by the state and we will follow every bit of it to ensure we are running our business smoothly and safely. We want everyone entering our doors to feel welcome and safe. We have a wide variety of clients that frequent our business and every single one of you matters to us. We do not want to take any chances risking exposure to those that are high risk and we hope that you respect and understand the rules of entering the salon.
